In a very special evening, Robert N. Butler, gerontologist, psychiatrist, and Pulitzer prize-winning author, and T. Berry Brazelton, foremost pediatrician and author of 26 books on child development, share a stage to discuss the important role children and older adults play in each other's lives.

They answer questions from the audience in an enlightened discussion moderated by Tim White, producer of PBS's series on the legacies of senior Americans.

This program was recorded February 25, 1997 at the Smithsonian Institution.
