Calvin Trillin

Sibling détente in the back seat, spaghetti carbonara for Thanksgiving, turning in a "found" $20 bill to the NYC police lost & found—it must be another Calvin Trillin tale.

Calvin M. Trillin was born in Kansas City, Missouri. After receiving a B.A. from Yale University, he became a reporter for Time magazine and a staff writer for The New Yorker. An author of numerous books including Enough's Enough, Remembering Denny, and Messages from My Father, he also wrote and performed in a one-man show Calvin Trillin's Uncle Sam. In an interview by Linton Weeks of the Washington Post, Mr. Trillin ruminates on family, from basic child-rearing advice to a Thanksgiving that featured spaghetti carbonara.
